Rauner and his friends laugh all the way to the bank while everyone else is becoming minimum wage slaves. Both parties are now serving only the big corporations but at least Quinn has shown in the past that he will stand up to big corporations.

About 7:40 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in his right foot in the 8200 block of South Ellis Avenue in the Chatham neighborhood, police said. He was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital in good condition.

Toddler found alone on Austin street

About 11:50 p.m. Thursday night, a toddler was found wandering around without shoes or a coat in single-digit weather on the Southeast Side. The boy, 2, was found at 82nd and Avalon and has been placed in a foster home as state welfare officials investigate the boy’s mother for alleged neglect.

Someone saw the 3-year-old child crying in the 4900 block of West Adams Street about 5 a.m., police said. Officers found the child and took him to Loretto Hospital, where he was listed in “stable” condition early Sunday but did not have any injuries, police said.
