Found a dog. Alley between Spaulding and Sawyer

Howdy neighbors! Found an adorably sweet bulldog roaming the alley this afternoon. He has a collar but no tag. A few of my neighbors called animal control but I would hate to turn this lovely dog in without trying to find the rightful owner. Contact me with a description if it is yours :) Also, does anyone know of websites that are frequented by people looking for their pets? I googled some sites but nothing came up that seems popular in this area.

Hannah is a 13 year old black and brown pit mix. She was lost on the 3800 block of 66th St. at 1:00 pm on the Springfield -Santa Cruz church side of the block. If you see her, please call (708) 670-1170 and ask for Marie, my daughter. She's a sweet family pet and has had a stroke in the past.

Former Aldermanic Candidate for Chicago’s 23rd Ward, Anna Corral, endorses and joins Martin Arteaga’s for 23rd Ward Alderman campaign.

Corral, a health professional and community activists in the south west side of Chicago, had previously launched her campaign for Alderman in the 23rd ward. After several conversations and meetings with the Arteaga Campaign, Corral decided to “join forces” and work together to bring the much needed change in the 23rd ward.
“I found myself asking people to support my campaign or Martins. It was clear Martin had an organized campaign team and support from all over Chicago. Joining forces to work together for the 23rd ward and bring the change we need from the current administration made sense.” Said Corral.

Corral will join the Arteaga campaign as Community Outreach Director. “Having Anna’s endorsement and join our team is an honor. She cares a lot about the people in the 23rd Ward and like my self is a concerned parent and citizen who is tired of seeing the communities of the 23rd Ward being neglected.”

The 23rd Ward includes Midway International Airport and parts of Garfield Ridge, Clearing, Archer Heights and West Elsdon. But in the 2015 election, the ward also will spread south and east to take in parts of West Lawn, Chicago Lawn and other neighborhoods. The reconfigured 23rd Ward will see its Hispanic population jump from about 47 percent to around 67 percent.

Tad just because a newspaper writes an article about someone does not mean that it's factual. You are very quick to jump on the medias bandwagon against Mike Madigan. Being a ward resident you should focus on finding the truth. The story from the sun times about Madigan has a a phenomenal head line but if you read it closely there is no smoking gun concerning Madigan and what would you call a cult.
Because you are progressive I presume the truth doesn't matter because you despise anything to do with Machine like politics. Good night taddy.

  • Taddy...LOL.
