Keeping a Close Eye on CPD's Glenn Evans

I'm not going to bore anyone with the details but I have (as well as many others in the 3rd District) witnessed first hand the abuses of power Commander Evans has delivered over his brief reign in Woodlawn. I'm not going to bore anyone with the details but I have (as well as many others in the 3rd District) witnessed first hand the abuses of power Commander Evans has delivered over his brief reign in Woodlawn. Now with a new commander at the helm, I'm relieved but only in part. With all the lawsuits and complaints against him, i'm afraid the CPD is going back to their old playbook, tossing him from district to district like a hot potato. If anyone knows his current tour-of-duty please let me know. I want to insure that his past follows him and catches up with him sooner then later.. As of yet, to the best of my research, he has been named a defendant in six different lawsuits over the course of his career.

The Resurfacing of Cottage Grove

...just another prime example of how
"We're Getting Things Done"... BACKWARDS!

Nearly 4 lanes wide, 10 blocks in length, worth of road in good condition replaced... when there are hundreds of potholes throughout the ward that still need to be filled?

photo source: taken and compiled this morning

  • CeCe Edwards Grand Crossing Park Advisory Council

again. you miss the point - this stretch of street paving is important to many drivers from downtown to 95th. Understand that roads highly traveled will get treated first.
As a taxpayer satisfied with this particular stretch of repairs. Of course, agree with you that every pot hole should be filled and it appears they are one by one. Just conduct another survey in about month and let us know what you discover. will conduct my own as well.

  • Todd Agosto Analyst/Investigator at Veritatem Cognoscere

No, you missed my point, which again is, compared to the majority of roadways throughout the Ward, Cottage Grove was in great condition. No different than 63rd which is also a high traffic route. Do you think resurfacing 63rd would be money well spent? Despite common belief, the government doesn't grow money from trees.

Midnight Circus was great

Took my grandson to the Midnight Circus at Grand Crossing Park on Sunday. It was great! He loved it. He sat right by the ring and now he wants to be a clown/juggler/dancer/singer. They are going to Ogden Park next. Worth the trip
