Week begins with more gun violence in Chicago
A rash of shootings over the weekend claimed at least four people, including a 38-year-old woman at a Ukrainian Village bar, a 26-year-old man on a Roseland street, an 18-year-old in a drive-by shooting on the South Side and another 18-year-old in south suburban Chicago Heights. In addition, a 31-year-old man died of head trauma after an assault on a Southwest Side street.

FBI nabs 6 in alleged bank robbery, kidnapping
The FBI says two men brought the kidnapped victim at gunpoint to a home in the Roseland neighborhood on 119th Street, bound him with duct tape and handcuffed him to a chair. They beat him, shot him in the leg and left a pit bull to keep him in place.
