I am wondering if anyone has a drop trap I can borrow. I have tried to use my regular humane trap, but the feral cat I take care of has successfully eluded it, and he is now injured and needs medical care. They are a bit pricey, and just thought I'd see if a fellow neighbor has one I can borrow before dropping the $$. Thanks!

  • ward greenleaf Smokey and the Bandit, Hooper, Cannonball Run...

    Call tree house

  • I tried to call multiple times this weekend, I know they've moved but their phone number is still listed as 773.784.5488 and does not appear to be working. Thank you though.

  • The phone system at Tree House blows. Don't even bother calling. Just go there during open hours posted and rent the trap. They don't bill you unless you don't return it. I've rented up to 4 traps at one time to trap the my feral's for shots etc. and kept the traps for a month or more until all were caught.

  • I don't think TH is open to the public yet even though they've moved in.But try emailing Liz Houtz at liz@treehouseanimal.org

  • Got ahold of them via email. No drop traps available. Thx anyway.

  • You might try PAWS.

  • They sell them on Amazon. I'm ordering one myself now for the ferals in the area in case I run into a situation and need it. Glad you brought this up and reminded me. I hope you find one soon and get your cat in for care.
