The dog of the owner of the house that burned down @ Farwell and Greenview, got away( luckily neither the owner or dog were injured), but he bolted away and have not seen him since. His is a Black and Tan German Shephard, he may or may not come to you, but if you have the means to detain him or let me know where you saw him. We are trying to help him locate his dog. You can email me: thomcat40@gmail.com or text 562-682-8392

I see this dog everyday & live across the street - I will keep a look out...

His name is Riley. I hope we can find him.

I found a Black and White Pooch... does not look German Shephard... but to be on the safe side will follow up... thank you.

Riley returned to his home ( what is left), and reunited with his owner. At least a partial happy ending to this story.....thanks for keeping an eye out.

Happy to hear Riley has been found. You can tell the owner I used to enjoy how Riley would make the Hoodlums (the ones with their pants hanging down exposing themselves) JUMP when they went by his section of the sidewalk...They would antagonize him. I was always fearful they may try to retaliate.
    Good he is reunited....

So sorry for this family. Poor Riley, he must have been so scared what with all that was going on. Glad he is reunited with his family.

A fire is tragic enough for one day. At least everyone is safe and reunited...Thank goodness for that! And thanks to the CPD and CFD for once again being top-notch first responders!

Agree with you CPDLover - watched this tradgedy from my 2nd fl window from when the 1st truck arrived and 4 hrs later the last. Much admiration for CFD, never witnessed before their courage as they tackled this blaze that went out of control so fast. Buying extra smoke detector for apt this wknd.

Fires are so horrible. I love the CFD too. I am glad no one go hurt. I hope they find the dog. :(

OH! I am so glad the dog is back with the owner. Hurrey!

What GREAT news!!! It was always a comfort knowing he was there barking at those thug/criminals. Thank god you are both well and reunited. The sound of your geode wind chimes was always soothing to hear. We wish the best for you and hope you are settled soon. It's a shame so many of us hide indoors for fear of going out in the neighborhood and getting to actually know our good neighbors.
