Mr. Ho acquired the 246-room hotel at 21 E. Bellevue Place in 1996, renaming it Sutton Place Hotel. He also controls three other Sutton Place properties in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto, Canada, according to an opinion issued Sept. 24 by a Hong Kong appeals court.
