Tyler, of 9319 S. Lyon Ave., was shot at 6344 S. Seeley Ave. and was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, which said a Sunday autopsy determined Tyler died from a gunshot wound to the neck and the death was ruled a homicide. The bullet came from a shotgun.
