    About 50 people were involved in the melee that left two people hurt, including a Chicago Police sergeant who suffered broken ribs. An unidentified girl was hit in the head with a lock and taken from the scene in an ambulance, authorities said. The gunman fired at least one shot and then fled in the car, witnesses told police. The victim died a short time later.
