Carlos Hensley is charged with first degree murder and attempted murder. He is accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Kiana Green as she sat in a car at a stop light in Calumet Heights neighborhood on May 24. Green died two days later.

A Wednesday autopsy determined Gregory Scruggs, 46, of 9609 S. Chappel Ave. died of hemoperitoneum, laceration of the spleen and blunt trauma from an assault, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. The death was ruled a homicide.

Oops, wrong address
Antonio Lee Blanchard, 33, of the 9600 block of S. Yates, was arrested on charges of armed robbery after an incident that occurred on the 1400 block of N. Wood at 6:40 a.m. Feb. 7, police reports say. The victim, a 25-year-old Wicker Park resident, was walking on the street near his home when a man in a fur-lined jacket and a black skullcap approached him, brandishing a black handgun. "Go, go, go!" the man yelled. "Your wallet!" The victim handed it over, including $60 cash inside. As the gunman fled, the victim quickly dialed 911. Based on the victim's description of the perpetrator, police soon stopped Blanchard on the street, but he immediately started running. After a long foot chase involving several officers, Blanchard was placed under arrest.
