The man demanded the victim's wallet who turned around and hit the robber, who fled in an unknown direction. The victim ran home and called police. He was treated and released at St. Francis hospital.

Angry parents at one northwest side school for gifted kids met last night and are planning a protest at this morning’s Chicago Board of Education Meeting. The nearly three-hundred students at the Edison Regional Gifted Center are reportedly being moved to another location, so their building can be used to relieve overcrowding at surrounding elementary schools.
