Woman becomes 2nd death from October shooting
Acevedo was sitting in a car with Horacio Mendoza, of the 1600 block of 55th Court, who was pronounced dead after the Oct. 20 shooting. Mendoza died of his wounds a short time after the shooting, officials said in October.
