    A 19-year-old Pilsen man found dead Monday afternoon in Douglas Park near Mt. Sinai Hospital had apparently been shot elsewhere, police said. Mario Lopez of the 1400 block of West 16th Street was found about 1:10 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Farrar Drive in the park, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Yesenia Diaz was 17 when she allegedly suffocated her brother Ricardo, stuffed his body into a white garbage bag and put it into a garbage can in a Little Village alley. Several witnesses testified Monday, including a scavenger who found Ricardo's body and witnesses who saw Diaz in the hours after the killing, when she told conflicting stories about what had happened.
