Man in home struck by outside gunfire
Shots fired from outside hit a man in a bedroom Monday night in an Avalon Park community house on the South Side. The man was in a bedroom of a house at the 1600 block of East 84th Street when someone outside fired shots and struck the man, 27, in the left leg at 10:15 p.m., according to South Chicago District police.
