  For buyers in need of nightlife, the closest neighborhood amenity is just a few yards away: the new NXXT Restaurant & Bar at the corner of Chicago and Washtenaw avenues. The food may be so-so, but Time Out Chicago says it's a comfortable watering hole with "damn near every alcohol known to man." That has to count for something, right?

Construction is ongoing, according to Century 21 Sussex and Reilly's Mirek Czerkas, but it should wrap up by mid-July, and by then he hopes to have a furnished model ready.

  As you can see, this building and its companion at 1920 N Springfield Ave have the yellow-brick balconies that seem to be a Dolce Living signature. You'd need a few of them side-by-side for that blocky Aztec geometry to really emerge, but Dolce has only finished the bookend buildings so far.
