  Jerome Giters, of the 2900 block of West Fillmore St. was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery with a fire arm, according to a release issued by Chicago police.

  Police said Giters was involved in a shooting early Tuesday on the 2900 block of West Harrison St. Giters allegedly shot at police who were responding to a domestic disturbance call. Police fired back at him. Neither police nor Giters were injured, officials said.

  Ivan Garcia, 33, of the 5200 block of South Troy Street, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault, according to police. He arrested at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, and the charges were approved at 6:55 p.m.
