$450,000 bond for robbery suspect

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Bond was set at $450,000 for a 19-year-old man accused of shooting a woman during a robbery.

Darryl Harris, 19, faces several charges including armed robbery with a firearm and resisting arrest.

Police say Harris approached a 43-year-old woman Monday in the 800-block of East 87th Street and demanded money. When the woman said she had no money, he allegedly shot her in the leg and ran off.

Police arrested Harris a few blocks away after officers chased him down.

The woman is in stable condition at Christ Hospital.
