Man shot and killed by Chicago police

The shooting happened while officers were conducting a well-being check in the 7700 block of South Kedzie in the Marquette Park neighborhood.
  

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating a deadly shooting over the weekend.

Officers say they found a man trying to stab his roommate in the 7700-block of South Kedzie Saturday night. Officials say officers shot him to stop the attack.

Eugene Miller, 47, was killed.
