Chicago police involved in deadly shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police shot and killed a man on the city's South Side Saturday night.
A spokesperson reports that officers were conducting a well-being check in the 7700-block of South Kedzie.
When they got to the home police encountered a man with a knife trying to stab another person. Police say the man refused to stop the attack. That is when an officer shot him.
The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating the incident.
