Teen Shot in Chest While in McDonalds Parking Lot
CHICAGO (STNG) ―
An 18-year-old man was critically wounded Saturday afternoon after a bullet pierced through his chest in a South Side McDonald's parking lot.
Police responded to a shooting at 740 E. 47th St. about 12:30 p.m., according to a Wentworth District police sergeant.
An 18-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound "through the chest" in a McDonald's parking lot, the sergeant said.
The man was taken in "trauma" condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor.
Police said they are searching for possibly one offender, described as a black male between 19 and 21 years old.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
