3 Found Dead In Lakeview Motel

Autopsies Do Not Yield Cause of Death

CHICAGO (AP) ―

The Cook County Medical Examiner says it could be two weeks until toxicology results shed some light on the cause of death for three adults found dead on Friday in a hotel room on Chicago's North Side.

An autopsy completed Saturday did not yield a cause of death. A final determination is dependent upon the completion of the toxicology screenings. Chicago Police spokesman David Banks says the three were found unresponsive Friday afternoon at the Chateau Hotel, a single-room occupancy hotel in the 3800 block of North Broadway.

Investigating officers believe they may have been victims of drug overdoses.

The victims are identified as Anthony Schiller, Daniel Whittle and Cynthia Catrell. Police say all three lived in the hotel. Their ages are not immediately available.
