From CBS2:A 57-year-old South Side man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the murder of a woman whose body was found stuffed in the closet of an Edgewater motel room. Edward Gibson pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder and one count of concealment of a homicide before Cook County Associate Judge Lawrence Fox, according to Cook County State's Attorney's office spokesman Andy Conklin. Gibson, of the 7700 block of South Shore Drive, is accused of killing Maratta Walker, 45, on May 20 after he was released from the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
