A 57-year-old South Side man has been charged with murder in the May death of a woman found dead in a North Side motel. Edward Gibson of the 7700 block of South Shore Drive was arrested and charged Tuesday with first-degree murder, after he was released from the Metropolitan Correctional Center, police said.
