Also Saturday night, Fredrene Brown, 23, of the 1000 block of North Springfield Avenue was killed after being shot while driving, authorities said. Brown was driving on the 4500 block of West Jackson Boulevard just after 10 p.m. when someone fired shots at the car, hitting Brown, said Chicago police spokesman John Henry.
