An unidentified man plunged to his death Monday morning from a downtown parking garage, Chicago police said. The incident occurred about 10:20 a.m. at Ohio and State Streets.

Vasarhelyi, Mamalat and two unidentified suspects arranged to steal several pieces of artwork, worth about $586,000, from a storage facility in the 1000 block of North Halsted Street, authorities said. One of the women had been in a dispute over ownership of the artwork, authorities said.

Last month, the film's crew remade a section of Lincoln Park to film around the Biograph Theatre at 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.  In 1934, Dillinger was shot and killed by federal agents in a nearby alley after leaving the theater.

About 7:20 p.m. Friday, 35-year-old Juan Torres was found unresponsive on the street in the 1300 block of North Campbell Avenue with gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen, police said. Torres was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital of Cook County at 7:50 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
