Ulysses Simmons of 713 E. 92nd St. was pronounced dead at University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital at 1:01 a.m., according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's office spokesman, who said the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
