Court orders Latin School to stop soccer field construction

Lincoln Park residents' opposition heard by Cook County Judge
In another battle over the use of park property, an Illinois Appellate Court has ruled that Latin School must stop construction of a soccer field in Lincoln Park. Last week, a Cook County judge ruled construction could continue. But the project faces strong opposition from some neighborhood residents. More than half of the two-million dollar soccer field has already been built.
