The most recent killing reported by Chicago Police came early Sunday when 22-year-old Victor Ortiz, of the 11300 block of South Langley Ave., was shot in the face. Just after 2 a.m., the killer pointed a gun at Ortiz while the two were in the 600 block of East 115th Street, police said.
