I have a family, and welcome Sleepy Village to the neighborhood. Could be a great spot for a date night with my wife! Concerns over bars & liquor stores over populating the area should be quelled by the fact that city code limits establishment of bars & liquor stores, as code limits proximity of these types of places to schools. In any case, that stretch of Belmont has been in dire need of development for quite some time. If you know The Whistler, it's well run, and attracts a respectful crowd. I have a family & live in the area. I welcome Sleepy Village to the neighborhood.

  • If one were to look at the general market, retail is going away, quickly. One of the few things that you can't purchase online is a night out, so bars/restaurants taking over retail spaces will become more and more common.
