Person of interest in custody after tainted heroin sends 8 to hospital

Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson says they believe the suspect or suspects were driving around the area of 79th and East End Avenue, giving out doses of the suspected heroin. That's when a number of calls started coming in and police responded immediately.

    Personally, I don't mind fireworks. Illinois is a nanny-state that plays a losing hand (no pun intended) when it outlaws materials that can be easily obtained in the nearby border states. The moronic actions of Illinois politicians cause the loss of a revenue stream that could have theoretically decreased the "combine's" back braking taxes on what's left of a shrinking Illinois population.

    Ironically, many of the Illinois expats are moving to states that let people live their lives without the government taxing them to death, and for the most part, letting people makes their own decisions. You know like mature adults.
