What about the water fountains in the parks? Have They been tested? Also, just curious are the people of the city of Chicago able to sue the city? They certainly know about the issue. The people of Chicago pay a lot for water. May they get some money back to fix the problem?

I never said the law should not be enforced. And, in fact, it is (http://trib.in/2auKNpp).

My point is that you call for "some enforcement", but the law IS enforced. Just not every time, and that's because law enforcement can never catch EVERYONE who breaks the law, all the time.

Which means, you and I and other citizens will see people breaking the law, but if there are no cops there to catch them, they will get away with it. Just like you, every time you exceed the speed limit and get away with it.

(Don't bother denying - I know you do it!)

  • FitMom Neighborhood Blogger

@DChydePark I do get your point and others on this blog.

I'm actually a very careful driver, it's not that serious for me anymore. I leave early enough so that I don't have a reason to exceed the speed limit and I have a DriveWise on my car. We're not all alike, and we're not all that different.
