The 21-year-old was walking in the 5600 block of South May when a black car drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The men, ages 21 and 28, were both shot about 9:15 p.m. in the 4500 block of West Gladys, according to Chicago Police.

Officers found the man dead with gunshot wounds to the head and hand shortly before noon inside a car parked in the 6500 block of South Ross, police said. The medical examiner’s office has not yet released his name.

A 38-year-old man was shot in the back in the 5500 block of South Shields, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition. Additional information was not immediately available.

A 31-year-old man was standing outside in the 6300 block of South Parnell about 11:40 p.m. when a black sedan pulled up and someone inside shot him in the abdomen, leg and arm, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.

7 Wounded in Chicago Shootings and 2 More Killed

A 25-year-old man was shot in the arm in the 3500 block of South Vincennes Avenue, At 2 a.m. He was made it to Provident Hospital, and his condition was stabilized.

Police secure the crime scene at a a gas station in the 8600 block of South Ashland Avenue

Not much was known about the incident  other than the fact that neighbors in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue had heard a gunshot about 12:50 a.m.  The dead man, approximately 20 years old had no identification on him. The car was located in an area where  several of the houses  are vacant.

Sunday  the medical examiner’s office said hewas pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m. and identified as Kori O. Sellers, 20, of the 7900 block of South Sangamon Street.

A third 15-year-old boy was walking in the 4400 block of South Marshfield Avenue when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot at 12:50 a.m. Sunday. He was shot in the left leg and back was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was stabilized.

Two other victims,  a man and a boy were shot in the 1600 block of East 70th Street, at 3:43 p.m.

Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 12:50 a.m. found a man, thought to be in his 20s, unresponsive inside a vehicle in an alley in the 7600 block of South Drexel, according to Chicago Police.

Kori O. Sellers was sitting in the passenger seat with another person at the wheel of a car parked in the 8600 block of South Ashland when someone walked up, reached into the window across the driver and fired multiple shots at Sellers, authorities said.

Sellers, of the 7900 block of South Sangamon, was shot in the chest and arm, authorities said. The driver took him to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m.

William Palmer, 32, was sitting in a vehicle near his home in the 6300 block of South Honore about 5:20 a.m. when a gunman walked up and shot him in the head, according to police and the medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:58 a.m.

About 3:15 a.m., he was outside in the 900 block of West 96th Street when two other people walked up and opened fire, hitting the man multiple times, police said. He was dead at the scene. Authorities said his name and age were still unknown Saturday night.

Officers responding to a call of a person shot about 2:50 a.m. found the 35-year-old man unresponsive in the alley of the 200 block of North Laramie, police said. He had been shot once in the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Daniel Alcantana, 20, was shot multiple times in the 2900 block of West Armitage and pronounced dead at the scene at 6:59 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the 900 block of North Harding.
