  • TBH - the place is a dump. They're stuck in some kind of delusional thought that a side-street, un-original, bar with no updates (except some roof work) would draw in the crowd. There are plenty of good and bad bars on Southport. Old: Lange, Toons, Southport Lanes. The new corridor brewery seems to be packed a lot of evenings. We get good crowds, but Newports was a dive with a soured owner...

Dog on the loose at Lawndale and Eddy

For the second time in about a week, we've seen a white pit mix (?) on the loose on our way to work. He's roaming the street and barked at me. Seems a bit skittish. There was a concerned couple trying to keep an eye on him this morning. Does anyone know where it lives? It's a bit nerve-wracking! White medium-large dog with a light brown spot around his eye. No collar or tags.
