Where are the voices of Chicago's "religious" community? Why aren't there any banners hanging from churches, mosques, and synagogues saying to the troubled street gang youth to "stop killing?" Why aren't Chicago's political leaders given time in the media to appeal for non-violence in their communities? Makes ya wonder, huh.

There are religious leaders on TV regularly asking to stop the violence. With the Bible Belt neighborhoods unable to curb crime within their congregations....what does that really say about relegion? For sure the killing, violence, and other crime are against the tenants of the bible.

There is some weird, bizarre, delusion going on. Blaming someone else seems to be the common denominator.

Taking responsibility, cleaning house, standing strong in the face of adversity...does not seem to be achievable.

What is it in our culture that causes this?

What goes on in our devastated neighborhoods is not normal. It is unamerican. Yet, it exists and gets worse daily.

What will the annual dead body count be? Will it be less than last year? If the cherry pickers have their druthers...it will.
