I was in Chavez Taco's last night and two gentlemen were dicussing a woman who was shot and killed walking in on a robbery that took palce on 7/29/15 around 5 or 6pm. They said that the shooting was at Western and Huron. Does anyone know about this? Is this true?

4 charged after police chase and crash

The four approached a 28-year-old man on Monday in the 3200 block of West Carroll Avenue,  produced a handgun and announced a robbery, according to a release from Chicago police.

A 40-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 400 block of South Paulina and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he later died, police said.

A 21-year-old woman was with a group of people on the front porch of a home in the 8100 block of South Burnham when a light-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, police said.

Just before 9 p.m., a 21-year-old man was at a gas station in the 300 block of South Cicero when a group of people walked up and a fight started, police said. During the fight, someone in the group shot him in the arm and right leg.

He was standing in the 5600 block of South Kedzie about 2:40 p.m. when he was approached by several males who asked him about his gang affiliation, police said.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the shoulder in the 4300 block of North Ridgeway and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition. A police source said the injured man is a documented gang member.
