Chicago Police Officer Hurt After West Side Car Chase

The vehicle eventually crashed after a tire blew out in the 1600 block of Harrison street in west suburban Maywood.

Officers attempted to pull over a van around 1:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of West Harrison. The reason for the stop is unclear. The driver would not stop, eventually leading the police on a six-mile chase on Interstate 290.
