A man, 28, suffered gunshot wounds to his left armpit and thigh at 7:25 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Sangamon Street in Englewood, said Chicago Police spokeswoman Officer Bari Lemmon. The shooting happened about 12:05 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Normal Boulevard, said Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Stacey Cooper.
