  • Rakarwowski, You're correct. The cameras on the street, on the vest, and elsewhere reduce corruption, and the vast majority of cops are good. The biggest problem now is they're all laying down because of the Soros funded BLM haters. The decent black folks are who are paying the price in their 'hoods.

  • George F in Ravenswood displaced New Yorker

    RAKARWOWSKI nailed it.
@Westsider; You're right about the attitudes of some people who don't like the police because they are accustomed to giving orders and not taking orders. Somehow they believe that it's beneath them to submit to the law, instead of complying with the law. It drives cops crazy, when someone makes their difficult job a little more difficult.

  • The Shadow Democrat 49th ward voting for Trump.

One thing that I promise is that Tommorow night, when CNN and MSNBC, give the results and are forced to say TRUMP 45th PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, I will not come here to make fun of anyone. Yes, this is Chicago and the majority of the population leans Democratic so it will be a very difficult night and following days for some of you.

  • jericho58 resident

I look forward to seeing what you have to say tomorrow night, young guy. But something tells me you're not going to be anywhere to be found tomorrow night.

I'm afraid Trump voters are seriously out of step with the country and the electoral math. Things have certainly gotten crazy for sure, but on balance we're still basically a civilized country that values decent behavior, and we don't elect bullies, birthers and gropers for president.
