Man Hits CTA Bus, Pedestrian on Wild Police Chase With Baby in Car: Police

Thomas drove around the woman and kept heading north on Pulaski until he slammed into a CTA bus at Pulaski and Augusta, Scaduto said. Several passengers reported minor injuries.

Police found Thomas two blocks away after he allegedly broke into a house in the 900 block of North Harding Avenue. Police said he damaged six doors, a porch window and a basement door, and he was arrested on the second floor.

Man shot to death on North Side, 2 others shot on West Side

About 9:10 p.m., two men were shot in the Little Village neighborhood, police said. The men, ages 36 and 54, were standing in an alleyway near a garage in the 2400 block of South Troy Street when they were shot, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
