Andre Pullen, 23, of the 3400 block of West 21st Avenue, was shot in the 1500 block of Chase Street, the Lake Couny coroner’s office said in a release. Pullen was pronounced dead at 11:10 p.m. at Methodist Hospital Northlake in Gary.

2 teens killed, at least 10 people wounded since Sunday morning

In the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side, a teenage boy was shot multiple times in the upper body during an attack in the 2800 block of South Keeler Avenue about 7:45 p.m. Sunday and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police spokesmen said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner on Monday identified the boy as David Moreno, 16, of the 2700 block of South Lawndale Avenue. Police originally said the boy was 15 years old.

6 dead, 27 wounded in weekend shootings in Chicago

The 21-year-old was in a white car that was driving in the 2400 block of South Sawyer Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. Monday when someone opened fire.

• A 19-year-old man was shot and killed shortly before 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 8300 block of South Baker Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said.

He was identified Sunday evening as Pierre M. Dobyne, of the 3300 block of South Archer Avenue, according to the medical examiner's office. Preliminary information indicated the shooting may have been a drive-by.

• About two hours earlier Sunday, a 15-year-old boy and a 24-year-old man were shot about 3:20 p.m. in the 7300 block of South Vernon Avenue in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.

• About the same time, a 21-year-old was shot in the 6900 block of King Drive in the same neighborhood. The man walked into Saint Bernard Hospital and told authorities he was shot by someone in a light blue car. Police said the man was being uncooperative.

• A 15-year-old boy was wounded about 9:15 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of West 40th Place in the Brighton Park neighborhood, police said. He was shot in the foot and his condition was stabilizd at Mount Sinai Hospital.

• Someone shot a 17-year-old girl in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood about 10:10 p.m., according to police. The shooting happened in the 4000 block of West Potomac Avenue. She was standing with a small group when two shooters fired toward them, police said.

• A shooting in the Grand Crossing neighborhood left a 23-year-old man in serious condition after someone shot him in the face and shoulder, police said. The attack happened about 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East 71st Street and the man was taken to Stroger Hospital.

• A 30-year-old man was grazed in the back and drove himself to Norwegian American Hospital  about 11:10 p.m. The man was wounded in the 900 block of North Monticello Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. He was listed in good condition, police said.

• A 24-year-old man was shot in the left thigh just after midnight early Monday morning in the 2400 block of North Luna Avenue in the Cragin neighborhood, police said.

High School Student, 16, Charged With Little Village Murder

Prosecutors allege Andrew Zamora, 16, walked up to a car in the 2400 block of South Sawyer Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Monday and opened fire — fatally striking 21-year-old Abel Ruvalcaba.

Meanwhile, officers patrolling near 24th Street and Sawyer Avenue had heard the gunshots and responded to the scene of the shooting, according to prosecutors.

Zamora, of the 4100 block of West 26th Street, was charged as an adult with first-degree murder. Cook County Judge Peggy Chiampas on Tuesday ordered him held without bail.

6 Killed, 26 Wounded In Weekend Chicago Shootings

About 4:30 a.m., the 21-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle in the 2400 block of South Sawyer when someone fired shots from the sidewalk, striking him in the chest, police said.

Pierre M. Dobyne was standing in the 8300 block of South Baker at 3:30 p.m. when a minivan approached, and someone got out and fired shots, police said. The shooter then got back in the van, which drove off in an unknown direction.

Dobyne, of the 3300 block of South Archer, was shot in the chest and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he later died, authorities said.

She said she’d been standing, waiting at a bus stop at 63rd and Ellis a little before 2 p.m. Saturday with her three kids — Dillan and his two older sisters. On a warm day, they were headed for a family outing to the 63rd Street Beach.

That’s when a westbound car, which the Chicago Police Department said was fleeing a shooting in the 7700 block of South Kingston that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man, raced up.

Three men with known gang ties were outside in the 200 block of South Laramie about 3:15 a.m. when they got into a fight and gunfire erupted, police said.

About 2:15 a.m., Tarvares Herron was at the wheel of an SUV at a red light in the 6900 block of South Lafayette when he began talking with two females in a black car who were also stopped at the light, police and the medical examiner’s office said.

Herron, of the 5900 block of South Wabash, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:39 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

The weekend’s first fatal shooting happened about 11:10 p.m. Friday in Grand Crossing’s 7500 block of South Langley.

Dixon, of the 600 block of East 76th Street, was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he died of a gunshot wound to the chest, police and the medical examiner’s office said. The shooting happened on the same block where another man was shot to death by a Chicago Police officer the previous night.

A 24-year-old man was walking in the 2400 block of North Luna about 12:10 a.m. when someone walked up and fired shots in his direction, police said. The shooter then ran away southbound.

Amari, who lived in the 500 block of North Drake, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:56 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police said Sunday the bullet that fatally wounded 7-year-old Amari Brown on the Fourth of July was meant for his father. Both Amari and the 26-year-old woman were shot in the chest at 11:55 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Harding, police said.

Anthony Strong was shot in the right side of his chest about 4:55 p.m. in the 9200 block of South Harper, police said.

John Hunter, 25, and his 31-year-old brother Willie Hunter were sitting inside a Chevrolet SUV about 6:10 a.m. in the 8800 block of South Bishop, when another male walked up and opened fire, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The SUV — driven by the younger brother — sped away, but then crashed into a building in the 1600 block of West 89th, authorities said.

Jeremy Spivey, 23, and the two others were sitting inside a van in an alley near Sunnyside and Kimball about 2:30 a.m. when a male walked up and fired shots, authorities said.

Spivey, of the 4700 block of West Belmont, was shot multiple times and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:03 a.m., authorities said.

The 26-year-old man was sitting in his car in the 7700 block of South South Shore Drive about 1 a.m. when someone walked up and fired shots into the car, police said.

The teen — identified by authorities as Vonzell Banks of the 4500 block of South Prairie — and a 19-year-old man were standing outside Hadiya Pendleton Park in the 4300 block of South King about 4:45 p.m., when a vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire, police said.

The two were walking in the alley in the 9100 block of South Ashland about 1:20 a.m. when someone in a passing white van opened fire, police said.

Grover Tate, 47, of the 1500 block of West 95th Street, was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The man, identified as Jose Hernandez, was sitting on a porch at 12:05 a.m. in the 4800 block of South Justine when another male walked up and shot him in the back, authorities said.

Gutierrez, of the 6200 block of South Kenneth, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:06 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. Police said the shooting may have been gang-related.

The 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen at 10:06 p.m. in the 200 block of East Ohio, according to police and fire officials. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, fire officials said.
