When will the Mayor ask the feds to intervene and stop the senseless killing?

Gangs control the streets on the south/west side of the city. Police practice the Blue flu,and Blue Code and the Mayor does nothing about this classic union work slowdown targeted to break the back of management.

There is not even a whisper coming out of the Mayor or Superintendent about how they are adressing these Blue issues. Are arrests down 30%, stops down 70%, staff going up in a department where employees refuse to do the majority of their job description? National news has to do news stories or the public would not know any of this. What a crazy protocol.

In the meantime more Chicagoans are slaughtered by senseless shootings. Segration excellerates. We increase ranks of a department where at least half will not work. Or they do the job jalf their pay grade called meter maid. This is causing a spike of ticket protests in Administrative hearings is crazy beyond belief.

(Media and watch dogs please investigate this false writing of parking tickets and expose it. This is another catefgory of false reportimg)

Is the real problem a bankrupt city, county, state cannot afford the approx $80,000 lockup cost for criminals? Does anybody know? If so, please let us know and post here. Somebody needs to tell the truth and it usually comes from the media.

Do we pay almost 3 billion to a who department that cares more about what they want /themselves than the safety of the public who pays their salaries???? The 60 minute show last Sunday was highly critical of the situation in Chicago. Thanks CBS. The Department of Justice has charged the Police department with Civil Rights violations.

Criminals need to stop their violence. Police need to apprehend criminals. If they are not able to apprehend criminals they should be replaced with Officers who can do the job right. Right means according to their job description and in a just and even handed justice free of bias and brutality. It is called "cleaning house."

    We need help!

We need to protect the good cops to protect us and themselves from bad cops who are causing the poison atmosphere, intimidate, refuse to back up those who refuse to coverup for those who write up false reports against citizens, practice brutality, kill unarmed citizens.

PLEASE good cops whistleblow until u rid the force of the bad practices of bad cops so this horrible era of violence can be cured. Do the hard work to get back the mission statement of the department SERVE AND PROTECT. Help eliminate the cancer in the police force and protect citizens in a different way.

Be a stand up person who will root out corruption in the Department. It will be the hardest soul searching of a lifetime to turn in friends and break this cycle corruption.
Remember, bad cops also intimidate and threaten good cops so it is good for you. Your life is on the line too. Whistle blow to the Feds and media.

  • Rahm does NOT care, plain and simple. There is no debating about it, it is in his actions; we are taught that the actions speak louder than anything, and I hope that whoever re-elected him is not one who complaints now. This will be a long process of stoping these senseless crimes, it has gone on for many, many years. It will take more than a righteous mayor to stop all this - let's admit it, our society is somewhat messed up. It's quiet sad.
