A 17-year-old boy was walking in Jackie Robinson Park in the 10500 block of South Morgan at 4:22 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to police. He was shot in the right leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.

About 1:45 p.m., a 25-year-old was shot in the 5900 block of South Ashland, police said. He took himself to Holy Cross Hospital and was listed in good condition, according to Chicago Police.

A 24-year-old man was standing at 1:10 p.m. in the 600 block of East Marquette when someone emerged from the alley and fired shots, according to police. He was shot in the right thigh and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital.

He was standing with a group at 101st and Wentworth at 11:18 a.m. when a gold car drove up and a male suspect got out and fired shots, according to police.

About 10:21 a.m., a 26-year-old in the 1200 block of North Lockwood, according to police.

• At 2:45 a.m., Lemmon said, three men were standing in the 5100 block of West Madison Street in Austin when they heard gunshots and felt pain.

A 42-year-old man was shot in the right ankle while running away from two people who got out of a dark car and opened fire in Little Village’s 2100 block of South Fairfield about 9 p.m. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

In the morning, two people walked up to an 18-year-old man in the 6200 block of South Kimbark in Woodlawn and one of them shot him in the calf. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition after the 9:30 a.m. shooting, police said.

Early Tuesday, a 19-year-old man heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the knee while walking with a friend about 3:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Komensky in the West Lawn neighborhood, police said. He took himself to Christ Medical Center in good condition.

An hour before that, someone shot a 35-year-old man standing outside in the 2100 block of West Adams on the Near West Side. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

At 1:03 a.m., an 18-year-old man riding in a car in the 4500 block of South Wolcott in Back of the Yards was then taken to Mount Sinai in serious condition after being shot in the right shoulder.

Less than 10 minutes earlier, officers responding to a call of a person shot in the 2700 block of North Hoyne found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the back yard of a North Side home, police said. He was listed in critical condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

The day’s first shooting was reported at 12:40 a.m. in South Shore. A 23-year-old man walking in the 2000 block of East 71st Street was shot in the foot by someone in a passing SUV, police said. He later walked in to Jackson Park Hospital and his condition was stabilized.

A 38-year-old man was walking in the 1300 block of North Pulaski when he heard shots and realized he’d been struck in the chest, police said.

A person was shot in the right ankle while running away from two people who got out of a dark car and opened fire in Little Village’s 2100 block of South Fairfield about 9 p.m. The male victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

About 8:20 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot and critically wounded in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.He was getting into a vehicle in the 1500 block of South Washtenaw when someone walked up and shot him repeatedly, police said. He was critical at Mount Sinai.

Another South Side shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in Bronzeville, where a 28-year-old man was shot in the right foot in the 600 block of East Bowen, police said. He took himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.

Tuesday afternoon, a 21-year-old man was shot in the arm in the 3100 block of West Polk about 1:45 p.m. in East Garfield Park and taken to Stroger in good condition.

In the morning, two people walked up to an 18-year-old man in the 6200 block of South Kimbark in Woodlawn and one of them shot him in the calf. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition after the 9:30 a.m. shooting, police said.

Early Tuesday, a 19-year-old man heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the knee while walking with a friend about 3:30 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Komensky in the West Lawn neighborhood, police said. He took himself to Christ Medical Center in good condition.

An hour before that, someone shot a 35-year-old man standing outside in the 2100 block of West Adams on the Near West Side. He was taken in serious condition to Stroger with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

At 1:03 a.m., an 18-year-old man riding in a car in the 4500 block of South Wolcott in Back of the Yards was then taken to Mount Sinai in serious condition after being shot in the right shoulder.

Less than 10 minutes earlier, officers responding to a call of a person shot in the 2700 block of North Hoyne found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the back yard of a North Side home, police said. He was listed in critical condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

The day’s first shooting was reported at 12:40 a.m. in South Shore. A 23-year-old man walking in the 2000 block of East 71st Street was shot in the foot by someone in a passing SUV, police said. He later walked in to Jackson Park Hospital and his condition was stabilized.

About 2:40 p.m., the four grabbed items from a store in the 1600 block of North Wells Street then threw an employee to the ground as they ran to a gray Nissan waiting outside, according to Chicago Police.

Officers later spotted the car near Chicago Avenue and State Street and tried to stop the Nissan, police said.

The driver led officers on a chase, and the Nissan hit several vehicles before it was stopped just before 6:30 p.m. near Randolph Street and Stetson Avenue, police said.
