I never said it didn't. We can all acknowledge that fact. I wish you would have the courage to acknowledge institutional prejudice in our law enforcement and legal systems. Let me ask you, if you lived in an area where crime, lawlessness, and anti-social behavior was all you were exposed to, how likely would you be to participate in some way? If you went to a crappy school, your parents were in jail or on drugs, there were no meaningful jobs available, and you had to hustle on the street to survive... what would you do? I'm not justifying anti-social behavior but it certainly would seem logical that if you lived in these conditions, the behavior would be more statistically likely. Working the fryer at McD's isn't getting anyone out of this situation. Is $1300/month enough to pay for rent and necessities to live? I couldn't do it, could you? I think you need some insight to the environment you are so harshly judging? It might provide some perspective. All people deserve justice! Too bad only some people regularly get it!:(

New school year brings changes to Gresham

What anyone was used to now is moot. Educators at Gresham, 8524 S. Green, spent the school’s first morning open to students indoctrinating children in how the Academy of Urban School Leadership works, step by step, in the hopes of raising academic performance.
