Police Identify Man Fatally Struck by Woman in Minivan in North Lawndale

John Perry, 27, of the 400 block of West 65th Place in Englewood, was involved in a "verbal and physical" fight with a 23-year-old woman early Sunday morning in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue in North Lawndale, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Police: Woman Intentionally Struck and Killed Boyfriend After a Dispute

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time afterwards, according to Estrada. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as John Perry, of the 400 block of West 65th Place.

Man found stabbed near Garfield Red Line station

Chicago Police responded to a call of a person stabbed about 4:50 a.m. at 220 W. Garfield and found the man on the street, stabbed in the head, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

A law enforcement source said it appears the incident may have actually happened in the 5400 block of South Princeton, which is about a three-minute walking distance from where the man was found.
