    July 15, 2016 Newsletter | Alderman John Arena - Chicago's 45th Ward
Dear Neighbor, FIGMENT is an inclusive, participatory arts event that removes the barriers of museums and gallery walls. In their inaugural 2013 year, FIGMENT's Chicago team declared, "FIGMENT is an antidote to uncertain times. Organizers focused on concepts like decommodification and outside-the-box thinking, believing strongly in FIGMENT's capacity to counteract troubling news and provide a break from hardships many Chicagoans face."
