If you're viewing this forum, I'm sure you feel the same as I do. Currently I know there's a lot of unrest going on regarding Law Enforcement not respecting Citizens, and that concern is totally legit, but when are we going to learn to respect one another? I come home every day from work to find the curbside and my lawn littered with trash. A few days ago while I was picking up trash, a young man walking around 20 years old finished eating his Honeybun, and threw the wrapper in my grass with a confrontational stare. I did ask why he did it....he cursed and walked away! To constantly witness people throwing trash and bottles that break from their cars is very depressing, but I continue to clean and pick up like I'm sure others do, because we love our homes and the Neighborhood in which we live. I wish that Social Media like Facebook and Twitter was used in a more positive manner to stress incidents like this, and us being more respectful towards one another. It might also stop some of the senseless killing that seems to be happening everywhere....it's never too late!

Russ is right. Usually when a community is in good shape, the empty building will be replaced rather quickly with new businesses. The truth is it is taxes that are killing future and present businesses. In ten years you will see what will happen to this neighborhood. The change will not be for the better..Concerned 23 sound like he works for Lipinski or Zalewski, or possible a city/union worker. You need to open your eyes, you are in denial. Also, don't tell me to move, if I don't like it here. I am not financially able to leave, at the present time.
