    It is my understanding, as an affordable housing activists with ONE Northside, that 1) many residents were scared about the one-year notice and had left already, at least in the Crowder Place building. 2) Those that remain may stay, as long as they are qualified under CHA income limits and have all their paperwork complete an in order, such as bank statements, certified copies of birth certificates , etc.,3) A few single residents who live in a two-bedroom unit, but are now single (due to the death o a spouse), will have to move to a single room or studio apartment as the CHA does not want people being "over-housed", but this new single bedroom or studio apartment can be in the same building as they live in now.
