34 People Shot, 7 Dead In Chicago Since Saturday Morning

• At 12:45 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was driving in the 4500 block of South Wood Street when someone fired shots.

• At 2:15 a.m., a 34-year-old woman was shot in Austin, police said. The woman was standing in the street in the 5100 block of West Concord Place when someone in a passing Dodge Charger fired shots.

• At 11:30 p.m. Saturday, three people were shot in Austin, police said. The victims were part of a group standing in the street in the 5000 block of West Ferdinand Street when two people got into a fight and someone fired shots.

• At 11:10 p.m., three people were shot in Austin, police said. The victims were standing in the street in the 5100 block of West Chicago Avenue when two people in masks walked up to them and fired shots.

• At 9:35 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The boy was walking in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue when he saw two groups of people firing shots near an alley. The boy then realized he'd been hit.

• At 9:15 p.m., a 42-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 5800 block of West Augusta Boulevard when a black Jeep Wrangler pulled alongside him and someone inside the Jeep fired shots.

• At 8:12 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The teen was in the 4700 block of West Fulton Street when he was hit in his left knee.

• At 7:42 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was in the 900 block of West 83rd Street when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside the car fired shots.

Just before 1 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the arm on a Humboldt Park sidewalk in the 1200 block of North Campbell. His condition was stabilized at Stroger.

In a separate West Garfield Park shooting about 11:30 p.m. Friday, two gunmen walked up to a 34-year-old man sitting in the passenger seat of a car in the 100 block of North Kilbourn and opened fire, hitting him in the leg. He was in good condition at Mount Sinai.

A 14-year-old boy was walking with friends in Pilsen about 9:30 p.m. when someone opened fire from a red car in the 900 block of West Cullerton, police said. His condition was stabilized at Stroger with a graze wound to the chest and a gunshot wound to the knee.

Another shooting in the 8300 block of S. Peoria left a 25-year-old man in critical condition at Christ Hospital. The man was standing on the street at approximately 4 a.m. when occupants of a gray Jeep opened fire, striking him in the abdomen and right leg.

A 14-year-old boy was walking with a group of friends in the 900 block of W. Cullerton when a person in a red sedan fired shots at him. The boy suffered graze wounds to his chest and his left knee and was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

Two men walked up to a 34-year-old man sitting in a car and fired shots at him in the 100 block of N. Kilbourn at approximately 11:34 p.m. The man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, and was taken to Mt. Sinai in good condition.

A 22-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk in the 1200 block of N. Campbell when he was hit by gunshots at approximately 12:50 a.m. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his right arm, and was transferred to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

An occupant of a passing brown minivan fired shots at a 19-year-old man in the 5800 block of W. Belden at approximately 1:30 a.m. The man suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and was taken to Community First Hospital in stable condition.

A 23-year-old woman was sitting on a porch in the 2700 block of E. 78th St. at approximately 2 a.m. when she was shot in the buttocks. A man exited a vehicle, fired shots at the residence, and then fled. The victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition.

A 16-year-old boy was standing in a large group of people in the 100 block of S. Kildare at approximately 2:40 a.m. when shots rang out, striking him in the right leg. He was taken to Mt. Sinai in stable condition, but is not cooperating with authorities.

Two people were shot in the 200 block of N. Homan at approximately 3:45 a.m. A 21-year-old man was shot multiple times after a man fired shots from a nearby alley. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. A 23-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his right arm and refused treatment.

    The weekend is off to a violent start in Chicago, as one person has been killed and at least 12 more have been injured in shootings across the city. The lone fatality of the weekend came on Saturday morning, as a 26-year-old man was shot to death in the city's West Pullman neighborhood.

• In Garfield Park around 2:40 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in his right leg while he was on the sidewalk with a big group in the 100 block of South Kildare Avenue.

• In South Shore around 2 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was shot while sitting on a porch in the 2700 block of East 78th Street.

• In Belmont Cragin around 1:30 a.m., a 19-year-old man was walking westbound in the 5800 block of West Belden Avenue when someone shot him in his left leg. The shooter was in a passing brown minivan.

• In Garfield Park around 11:34 p.m. Friday, a 34-year-old man was shot while in the passenger side of a vehicle in the 100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue.

• In West Pullman around 6:45 a.m., a 32-year-old man was sitting in a truck parked in an alley in the 11700 block of South Calumet Avenue when he was shot in a drive-by. The shooter was in a gray 4-door sedan.
