Transit Tees Now Open In Andersonville Just In Time For First Fridays

On Friday, Transit Tees opened its second location at 5226 N. Clark St. The store offers home goods, t-shirts, pins, coffee mugs, posters and art celebrating the city, said store manager Kat Ginensky.

Transit Tees has been selling products out of Andersonville Galleria, 5247 N. Clark St., for about eight years, so it was a no-brainer to open its second storefront in the neighborhood, she said. It has also participated in Midsommarfest.

    ANDERSONVILLE - Hip-hop ramen superstar Furious Spoon will open in Andersonville this fall, its fifth outpost. The ramen shop from Chef Shin Thompson and restaurateur Anshul Mangal plans to open in the former space of Johnny Brown Bag, 5406 N. Clark St., according to a press release.
