What exactly is the point of publishing the women's addresses? I understand that publishing the address of the business is important to let the community know that the business is involved in illicit activity, but publishing the addresses of the women seemed rather negligent at best and at worst punitive.
We always read about how prostitution is many times intertwined with human trafficking and modern slavery , and people who are branded as prostitute receives instant condemnation and shaming from their community, isn't it your job as a journalists to investigate the story behind the story? and if you are saying that there is not enough resource to do that, don't these women deserve at least a moments pause and consideration before you publish their personal information that would allow unscrupulous people to locate them and inflict psychological and or bodily harm.
Im not saying that these women are god's little angel that can do no wrong, but to put their personal info out there, the newspaper must have must crossed some kind of journalistic ethical boundary.... am I crazy?
