Hello everyone.
Have you had results from filing a request on the city website?
Lately, I have witnessed rats in the alley and "walking", not slithering in front of our houses. It happens in the evening and at dusk. Does anyone know how long it takes the city to address this infestation after filing a request? Have you seen rats in your neighborhood? Or is this a situation in my neighborhood? What can be done to prevent an infestation in our alley? Rats bring lots of destruction and disease. What can I do as an individual to handle this matter outside my home if the city does not respond? By the way, I think the rats are coming to eat from garbage carts that are not properly secured or from construction in the neighborhood. I am just guessing, not sure. I have never seen a rat up close and personal until recently. Not a pretty sight.
Thank you and have a great day!

  • Good idea to call for carts for others. As for the Aerex pest control, I had mice a long time ago so, I might just call them to make sure that my basement is vermin proof.

JR and Judy, I did the same and had my neighbors' cans replaced. I just called Streets and San directly. Those darn squirrels are killing me!
