I'm looking for neighbors who want to organize spring block trash clean ups in Albany park . I'm in the 4900 block of Albany everywhere and it looks really gross . I'm willing to help on your block if you help on ours .

Great idea! Albany Park Neighbors organized two neighborhood cleanups last year and it sounds like they are planning one again for this spring. Last spring they had both neighbors and local students involved. Maybe we can mobilize a very large group to neaten up the hood?
Oh, we can connect you with printable flyers to pass out to homes on your block, and some flyers to post in your meet-up spot so it's easy to coordinate volunteers on your street. Email us at email@example.com or message us on Facebook.
APN's going to post a poll about neighborhood availability later today. April 19 is the 33rd ward's "official" clean & green date, but it's the Saturday before Easter Sunday, and a lot of folks travel. So maybe the 12th or 26th works better. I'm not sure how many of us can wait for the 26th.
Here you go, team. If you haven't already, please comment on this FB thread to claim your block(s). We're plotting them on a map to keep track. If you could also shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred contact info, that would rock:
Any day is good for me and the family. Really, everyday is clean up day, when I walk the dogs, I pick up as much garbage as I can. But a group effort is even better. We are on Whipple between Ainslie and Argyle.
