    Ordered food from here recently, it made myself and another pretty ill. Now i see why that may have been, though most of the above violations appear to be for design and physical contamination issues.

    There is another Oriental resturant by 6 corners that should be inspected. One night while waiting for a take-out order. The waitress was at a table eating, when she finished with her fork she wiped it on the rag for cleaning tables & threw it in the silverware for the patrons to use. Never been back again

    Dudes, that was last year and the violations were fixed by the next day. I've eaten from there and it was terrific. That said, I would appreciate knowing what restaurant Maggie is talking about so I can NEVER go there. Ugh.

    Sadly, Kenji, race is no indicator of cleanness.

    Tracy it is called Hong Kong Resturant, don't want to bad mouth any establishment, but, I also don't want anybody getting ill. We used to order every week from there. Sorry if anybody is upset with me.

    I'll take a stab of a guess but just about every place around has some practice that's pretty yucky but you never see it. That's why we have immune systems......

    Damn, I love that place. Still, since I don't deal with the waitresses there (Only order in) I'm not too worried. Maggie, you really should have informed management about what she did. They may not know what sort of person works for them.

    Yup, Kenji, you're right; we just don't see these things happening. But when we do, we have to make an informed choice about whether we want to spend our money at a place where we've seen something that makes us want to barf.

    Maybe you don't mind the idea of seeing the waiter picking his nose over your plate or the cook coughing into a pot or pan of food. Maybe you revel in the notion that there might be someone's snot in your food -- à chacun son goût and all that -- but each of us has to draw the line at the point.
