I live on the 5800 block of N. Moody Ave. ST. TARCISSUS school and church is across the street. the problem is that they have so many events at church and school night and day sometimes 7 days a week there is never a place to park in front of my own home.Can we get resident sticker parking on the residential side of Moody at least after 6pm. mike b

Thanks, for the reply. I think it would be prudent of the police or someone to tip us off as to what these thieves are after. Maybe I could protect my property a little better, if I knew what I needed to protect ! Is it bigger than a bread box ? A hint would be nice !
I'm sure that in this case " tools or building materials" were the prize, but I constantly see these postings and no follow up. -

Felt like being transportated to Tokyo. You can enjoy the authentic Japanese food without travelling to Japan!!! Excellent and diverse selection of food. Very polite staff that remember returning customers. This is by far my favourite japanese restaurant in Chicago!!!

the food was very good overall. management though is another story. I slipped and fell and didnt even get an apology. what i got was i tell parents to watch their kids. i am an adult! "what am I supposed to mop everytime someone spills water" there are signs everywhere. if at the exit means everywhere. then i dont know whats wrong these people. i'm telling you that was not the right answer!

There are too many professionals on our streets. I don' mind giving to some that seem really desperate for help, but when I see the same dudes every day of the week on the same corners, it makes me wonder. The shoe shine guys put stuff on your shoes before you can stop them, then they HAVE to wipe it off, then get mad at you for not paying them.
This makes our city look bad, and I wish there was something that could be done. Are there any laws ? I am sure that if I set up a business on a street corner without a license, I would have to leave or be arrested. Why do these well known pros get away with it ? -

If it's the spot at the NE corner of Wolcott/Montrose, I run by it every night and a couple weeks back the doors were open to air out the wood solvent smell - it looked like there was a long bar in it but lately the doors have been closed. I haven't seen the liquor license applications posted so perhaps it is running slow.
