Traffic is diverted at Kinzie to LaSalle or Dearborn.

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Engine 13, located at 259 N. Columbus, Fire Commissioner Raymond Orozco, family of FF Walter Watroba, Chairman Ed Burke, 14th Ward Alderman, Brendan Reilly, 42nd Ward Alderman, Chicago business leaders J. Barry Mitchell, ComEd President and COO, James Loewenberg, Magellan Development Group co-CEO and Guy Gorney, Midwest Generation President, as well as the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) Color Guard and Pipes & Drums, formally unveiled the Walter Watroba Memorial statue. The Memorial statue features a firefighter’s fire coat draped over a steel architectural column, with a fire helmet and pair of fire boots at its base and a life-size bronze American flag in the background.
